Strike Updates !
Strike at KS School of Business management from 20-2-08 to 28-2-08 !
And its a Win-Win situation !
Today we mark the full stop of our indefinite strike - which lasted for 7 days.
The conclusion was held at the Senate hall - amongst 2 faulty members - Sarla Mam our Director - 3 more council members from the university - The VC - NSUI supporters and 20 students (including me)
The talk lasted for more than an hour which at the end was quite positive.Hopeful of the implementations that were promised. The talk was initiated by our Vice Chancellor - Mr. Parimal Trivedi. He has agreed on various demands which have lead to the Strike.
The various changes that we shall undergo are as follows : -
1. Infrastructure problem : They may work out a new plan within 6 months for a complete new building. An alternative solution is we acquire few class rooms from surrounding buildings.An extension above, as a 2nd floor to be built from our next course year beginning.
2. Faculty : There shall be Open Interviews conducted by the college itself every 2 years.
3. Library : New books worth 3lac each for MSc and MBA within a Week. Central Library shall issue our students books on the basis of ID-Card.
4. Computer : 25 new computers to be installed that shall have internet connection from the start. Other old celeron pcs to be updated soon.
5. LCD : In total now we have 8 LCDS all working. 4 newly acquired, 2 repaired and 2 we have them working already.
6. Student Committee : A committee that shall consist of 5 students and 5 teachers shall be addressing all the issues regarding the students and college. They shall be in charge of keeping the students updated of all the follow-ups and other happenings.
7. Exams : To be postponed at least by 5 days :). College from tommorrow as usual
Looking forward for better Management and Strike-Less days ! :)

An indefinate Strike !
We're on strike ! and thats an indefinite one ..
Today is the 5th day we've been on strike and exams start from the 1st ..
Which we shall boycott in turn.
I initially thought there shall be no returns but its working !
All the fellow - protesters including out college pupils and the NSUI student body have made managed to get an ear to hear them. day-before I spoke to Kinnari and i was shocked !
Silently she too was on our side. Preferring the strike -way.
The issues are quite a elementary which include :
- Proper Management
- Efficient Faculty
- Infrastructure
The VC refused to address us and so taking this to the next level - we wrote postcards to the Chief Minister. Hope there is some change now.
The strength of our students is also quite a surprise that i was taken aback by. U'd never see this unity at our college. Suddenly, we ahve all shouting together.

Ennui Phase
Okkkaaay - I kinda am Big time bored !
Missing Poply as well - My personal entertainment to entertain me when im bored is in baroda entertaining someone else :P
Apparently - I should be staring at My Notes and Xerox papers and ppts as Im about to appear for my Msc. 2nd term exam from 1st March that is a week from now !
And as usual i have hardly attended lectures and worked otherwise ..
Now what im trying to figure out here is - The incentive that can make me stick to the books for a while ...
I wish to do what i should be doing - But I fail to do so.
I consider what mum-dad expect of me - but i fail to fulfill their expectations.
I need a strong incentive - which shall not let me fail, Not today not tommorow.
Self determination and sincerity should actually be the answer here, in general case.
but thats so not an answer for me.
As lazy as ever - I need to start running !
Gosh I know i shld wake up early - but the cozy bed, that i blame doesnt allow me to part :p
I know - I know - i know it all !
A bum - That I am - Gotta get started !
Everyone's running - running behind money - power and fame !
Im yet to decide what to run for or behind !
Coz what i want - I already have - Sooper family and dooper friends.
Couldnt have caught them even if i ran faster than the fastest.
I need no money to live an extravagant life - no versache denims can lure me to work harder and earn more !
Thus, I conclude - I m quite thin and dont need to run :p
Im still smiling - with all that i have and as Happy as ever !

Archana - ur Host !
Today - The Culfest .. Tornado ended !
I sure was real fun - Anchoring the whole show..and walking the ramp as well..everything was so so impromptu but the show did go on well. The organizors were so disorganized ! I so hated being surrounded by a zillion people on my podium - Gosssh no place to breathe ! Everyone wanted to simple stand next o me - bas, they couldnt move their BUTT and work ! Sab ko sirf naam ka organizor banna tha - and fashion show ofcourse thats like a feather on their cap !
Took good control - ate nothin all day long and still survived - though the first day i had a terrible headache, shldnt have had the chips n stuff !! But today - Just water saved me - on my way back - ate what mum gave in the morn !
Feels nice - when i got out and they said - Nice anchoring - Though i know - i dint say much and whatever i said it simply irritated ! I was simply killing time..
